Many surveyors use 60d or 60 penny steel
nails with a flat washer under the head. There
are eight 60 penny nails to the pound, not including
the washers. By comparison, there are
approximately 40 EcoPins to the the pound and you
don't need washers.
EcoPins will cost about the same as better grades
of steel pins and staples and will weigh about 25
pounds per 1000, making them much more affordable to
ship than alternative products.
